Employer Award from the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
was awarded in November to University of Kentucky through the
Human Resource employment office in recognition of ongoing success
in employing Kentuckians with disabilities.

October UK Resident of the Month is DR. AHEEM HABASH,
Plastic Surgery. The November UK Hospital Employee of the Month
is EMILY
FAIN, nursing care tech, Markey Cancer Center. The November
Resident of the Month is DR. MARY BETH GIBBONS,
Anesthesiology.
ASHLEY
KARATHANSIS, who has served in various capacities at the UK Transplant
Center since 1998, has been named its deputy director.
JAYNA
OAKLEY, UK alumni (1979), and KELLI OAKLEY, UK special events
coordinator, published their first book “Kentucky TALEgating:
Stories With Sauce.” The cookbook is filled with recipes,
stories, and photos combined with traditions honoring Kentucky
tailgaters.
