November 6, 2007Construction Work to Impact Parking on Veterans DriveDue to work on the redundant communications duct bank that heads north on Veterans Drive, a total of thirteen disabled parking spaces on the east side of Veterans Drive will be closed for two days this week.On Thursday, November 8, six disabled spaces near Cooling Plant #1 will be blocked off due to construction. On Friday, November 9, seven disabled spaces across from the VA Hospital will be inaccessible, as well as one motorcycle space.  Additional disability parking will be available in the Blue Lot behind the Medical Center Route bus shelter. The Medical Center Bus Route will not be affected. Repair work is expected to conclude by the afternoon of the second day. |
