Spring Break Shuttle to Blue Grass Airport

Parking & Transportation Services is helping students reach their Spring Break destinations by providing a shuttle to Blue Grass Airport. The shuttle will run Thursday, March 6, and Friday, March 7, with daily campus pick-up times of 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. To schedule a pick-up, email UKParking@lsv.uky.edu at least 48 hours in advance (not including weekends) and provide the following info:

  • Name
  • Campus address
  • Campus phone number and/or cell number
  • Date, time, and location of campus pickup
Parking & Transportation Services will call to confirm a pick-up time and location.

Students must make their own arrangements back to campus. LexTran’s Airport/Keeneland Express, which runs Monday through Friday and drops off at the Vine Street bus terminal, can be found at http://lextran.nextinsight.com/routes.php?mrnid=27. Fare is $1. American Taxi (859-381-TAXI) accepts UK PLUS accounts, and charges approximately $16-$20 for cab fare from Blue Grass Airport to campus.

University Drive Lane Closure

Beginning Thursday, traffic on University Drive from Cooper Drive to Complex Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The closure is designed to accommodate construction and utility work in the area.

Employees are encouraged to allow extra time in their daily commute.
