Veterans Drive Construction Detour

Beginning Saturday, March 29, the intersection of Veterans Drive and Hospital Drive will be blocked due to work on the communications duct bank for the Hospital Bed Tower. Motorists will still be able turn from Hospital Drive to access Parking Structure #1. Vehicles going to the VA Hospital Parking Structure will be detoured around by the Agriculture greenhouses.

Construction is expected to last approximately one week.

Spring Weather Bring Bikes to Campus

Spring has sprung, and bikes are popping up all over campus. If you choose to ride your bicycle to campus, please take some time to review UK’s bicycle regulations. Bike racks are located in front of most every residence hall and classroom building, with nearly 2,500 bicycle spaces on campus. Just like cars, bikes can be impounded if they are parked illegally. Don’t chain bikes to a bench, tree, or telephone pole. Just use a bike rack.
