Don’t Forget Bicycles on Campus

As the semester winds down, Parking & Transportation Services would like to remind students to take their bicycles with them when they leave campus for the summer. With the high cost of gasoline, your bicycle may come in handy both this summer and next fall as a practical and economical means of commuting.

Abandoned bicycles will be impounded, whether they are parked legally or illegally. Should you leave your bicycle on campus and it is impounded, you have 90 days to claim it at Parking & Transportation Services. After 90 days, unclaimed bicycles are handed over to UK Surplus.

Please make sure to pack your bike when headed home for the summer!

South Campus Residence Hall Move Out

On April 30 – May 2, 2008, students moving out of the residence halls in the Kirwan-Blanding area will be offered two hours free parking in Parking Structure #7. Parking Structure #7 is located on Sports Center Drive.

All vehicles must be removed from Parking Structure #7 prior to closing. Overnight parking without prior approval from Parking & Transportation Services is prohibited.
