July 15, 2008Administration Drive Repairs July 17-18On Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18, Administration Drive will be closed from the Gillis Building to Patterson Drive for pavement repairs. Traffic between South Limestone (Main Gate) and the Gillis Building will change to two-way during the project. So vehicles can get from South Limestone to Patterson Drive, traffic flow will go in reverse on Administration Drive across from Parking Structure #5.Motorists are encouraged to slow down and stay alert for pedestrians and other motorists who may be unaware or confused about the changes in traffic flow. Tennis Championships to Impact Parking July 21-27Due to the Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships, the small R3 parking lot, next to Parking Structure #7 on Sports Center Drive, will not be available Monday, July 21 through Sunday, July 27. The 17 spaces in this lot will be used for event parking only.The tennis tournament parking will only affect those who normally park in the small R3 parking lot. With residential lots being off control during the summer, parking may overflow into the other two R3 lots on Sports Center Drive. In addition to any lots that are off control, spectators may pay to park in Parking Structure #7. Employees and students who normally park in the South Campus area should plan accordingly, and allow extra time when arriving to campus. |
