January 13, 2009Martin Luther King Day Bus Schedule ChangesDue to the Martin Luther King holiday, CATS buses, the LexTran Commonwealth Stadium Route and the LexTran Ag Science Shuttle will not operate on Monday, January 19. Additionally, the Kentucky Clinic Shuttle and Medical Center Shuttle will not run on Monday, January 19.However, PTS will be offering the On-Demand bus service Monday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. and continuing until midnight. The Green Night Route will operate on its regular schedule on Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, as will the On-Demand service on Sunday, January 18. Sterling to Lexington Shuttle Bus in the WorksThe Kentucky River Foothills Community Action Council is looking to expand their shuttle services to include a Mount Sterling to Lexington route. If you travel to Lexington from Mount Sterling or neighboring areas and are interested in this service, please send a fax with your name, street address, e-mail address and telephone number to David Sowder at Kentucky River Foothills at (859) 624-2049. Someone will contact you with details on a community meeting in Mount Sterling to finalize the routes and times.
