Class Registration Reminder for Students

Priority registration for the 2009 fall semester begins Monday, March 30. Students who have unpaid parking citations may be unable to register for classes. Don’t forget to pay all of your citations before your class registration window opens. Students can pay citations online at www.uky.edu/Parking/services-pay-citation.html. Students who have a stop on their registration despite paying citations should call Parking & Transportation Services at 257-5757. Once payment is verified, PTS will remove the hold from the student account.

If you are unsure whether you have outstanding parking citations, you may check on our Web site, found at www.uky.edu/Parking/services-pay-citation.html. You may use the myUK portal to check your student account, including any unresolved academic or financial holds.

TaxiCats Helps Students Get Around

Looking for a ride? UK students are eligible for a low-cost taxi called TaxiCats, a collaboration between PTS and All American Taxi.

TaxiCats allows UK students with valid student IDs to ride within the boundaries of Chevy Chase, Broadway, Greg Page Apartments and Main Street for just $2 per person per ride. Additionally, All American Taxi will provide a 10% discount on taxi service outside the boundaries to UK students with valid student IDs. The discounted services are available year-round.

All American Taxi (859-381-TAXI) accepts UK PLUS accounts, and has an average wait time of 15 to 20 minutes.
