Reminder: Take Bicycles Home for Summer

Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) would like to remind students to take their bicycles with them when they leave campus for the summer. Abandoned bicycles will be impounded, even if they are parked in a legal bicycle space. If your bicycle is impounded, you will have 90 days to claim it at PTS. After 90 days, unclaimed bicycles are handed over to UK Surplus.

If you are returning for the fall semester, don’t forget to register your bike. Registration - provided free of charge - is expected to begin July 1, 2009, and all bicycles on campus must be registered.

South Campus Residence Hall Move Out

On May 6-8, students moving out of residence halls located in the Kirwan-Blanding area will be offered two hours of free parking in Parking Structure #7, located on Sports Center Drive.

All vehicles must be removed from Parking Structure #7 by 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7 when the structure closes. Overnight parking without prior approval from PTS is prohibited.
