August 20, 2009Martin Luther King Employee Lot Impacted by Move-InOn Friday, August 21, the Martin Luther King employee (E) parking lot will be reserved for student move-in. Employees have a number of options in the area; the R1 parking lot (which will not be controlled for R1 permits until Monday, August 24), the E lot behind Memorial Coliseum and Parking Structure #5, located next to Kennedy Book Store. Employees should plan accordingly and allow extra time for their commute.Incoming Students, Join PTS During K WeekNew to campus? UK Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) is offering informational sessions on getting around campus during K Week 2009. “UK Parking and Transportation 101” will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 2 p.m., 231 Student Center, and on Monday, August 24 at 4 p.m., 211 Student Center.A PTS representative will discuss topics such as parking basics, campus buses, alternative transportation and more.
