Repaving Projects Scheduled for Oct. 26-28; Parking and Yellow Route Impacted

Administration and Patterson Drives
Due to a street repaving project, Administration Drive will be closed from 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26 until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27. No parking will be allowed on this section of Administration Drive during this time. Any vehicles remaining on Administration Drive will be removed at the owner’s expense. During the road closure, the Yellow CATS Night Route will bypass Administration Drive; riders who normally use the Gillis Building stop should instead get on and off the bus at “The Steps” on South Limestone, just north of Administration Drive.

Repaving work on Patterson Drive will coincide with work on Administration Drive. Only the drive lane will be repaved. Vehicles may be parked on Patterson Drive close to the curb; however, vehicles will not be able to be moved until the repaving is completed.

Sports Center Drive
From 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, traffic on Sports Center Drive from the Complex Drive intersection to Cooper Drive will be limited one-way toward Cooper Drive. Vehicles may enter Sports Center Drive via Complex Drive or Cooperstown. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Parking in the R3 lot and Parking Structure #7 will not be affected.

Employees and students should plan accordingly and allow extra time in arriving to work or class.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
