Construction Parking Impacts
College of Pharmacy
With the construction of the new College of Pharmacy building slated for May 21, the employee (E) parking lot located on Leader Avenue across from Kentucky Medical Services Foundation will be eliminated. To help offset this loss of 121 spaces, the commuter (C4) parking lot (adjacent to Parking Structure #6) will convert to an employee parking lot at that time. Additional employee parking is available in Parking Structure #6, located at the corner of Virginia and Press Avenues.
Current C4 permit holders who plan to renew their permit during the May renewal period will be issued a C5 or C7 permit, based on availability.
Approximately 18 disabled spaces will be relocated to restore those displaced due to construction. The new spaces will be located in the paved lot directly behind the Biomedical Biological Sciences Research Building, with an entrance off Virginia Avenue. Additional parking for people with disabilities is available in Parking Structure #6.
