Game Day Shuttles
Game day shuttles operate between both various campus locations and Commonwealth Stadium, and downtown Lexington and Commonwealth Stadium. Cost for the UK Football Express - Campus Route is $2 each way; cost for the UK Football Express - Downtown Route is $2.50 each way.
Campus shuttle stops include:
- Cooper Drive and University Drive
- In front of the Kentucky Clinic
- Rose Street and Huguelet Drive

Parking and Transportation Information on the Air
Tune to 1700 AM, UK’s low-power radio station, for parking and transportation information 24 hours a day. The station will provide general information on game day parking and shuttles. Please note, it will not include live traffic updates.

Please note, none of the parking structures listed have public restroom facilities. Tailgating is not permitted in UK parking structures.
Parking Structure #1
Location: 1290 Veterans Drive 40506 (corner of Cooper and University Drives)
Cost: UK Football Permit Parking
Distance from Commonwealth Stadium: .4 miles (approx. 8 minutes walking)
Details: University of Kentucky Medical Center and Veterans Affairs employees who are working on game days are granted access. All other vehicles must display a UK football parking permit.
Parking Structure #2
Location: 538 Rose Street 40506 (entrance on Hilltop Avenue); across from K-Lair Grill
Cost: Free
Distance from Commonwealth Stadium: .8 miles (approx. 16 minutes walking)
Parking Structure #3
Location: 140 Huguelet Avenue 40506 (Kentucky Clinic)
Cost: Free
Distance from Commonwealth Stadium: .9 miles (approx. 18 minutes walking)
Details: Spaces marked “Twilight Clinic” are reserved for Kentucky Clinic staff members working on game days.
Parking Structure #6
Location: 721 Press Avenue 40508 (corner of Virginia Avenue)
Cost: Free
Distance from Commonwealth Stadium: 1.2 miles (approx. 24 minutes walking)
Parking Structure #7
Location: 721 Sports Center Drive 40506 (corner of Complex Drive)
Cost: $15
Distance from Commonwealth Stadium: .3 miles (approx. 6 minutes walking)
Details: Opens four (4) hours prior to kickoff. Parking in the structure will not be restricted to only football fans; however, the $15 fee will apply. Employee and student permits will not be accepted during this time.
Student and Employee Parking on Game Days
Students and employees who park at Commonwealth Stadium must move their vehicles before 9:00 a.m. on the days of home football games. Additionally, no parking on University Drive is permitted on game days. Failure to move any vehicle from the Stadium parking lots or University Drive could result in a citation and/or impoundment at the owner’s expense. This includes the K lots, the E parking in the Red and Blue lots, the C6 lot, and the K/E lot next to Greg Page Apartments. In addition to the E spaces on University Drive, anyone in motorcycle spaces or parked at meters must be moved.
Vehicles may be moved to any E lot on campus, with the exception of the E/C2 lot, the E lot behind the Gluck Building, the 24-hour E lot behind the Nutter Practice Facility (including the 24-hour E spaces by Ingels Hall), the 24-hour E lot behind the W. T. Young Library or Parking Structure #7. Vehicles may be moved anytime after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, and must be moved back by 5:00 a.m. Monday.
