This facility is designed to accommodate many different types of users including employees and students with hang tags as well as patrons paying an hourly fee. Parking fees are made using two ATM-style central cashier stations, located in Stairwell A on levels 1 and 3.
One of our goals was to make entering and exiting the structure as convenient and fast as possible. The structure's parking management system significantly reduces traffic congestion at the exit lanes during peak hours because there are no attendants at the exits to collect fees, validate passes, or check permits. If you have any questions about this structure, please come by the structure office located on the first level, Limestone Street side or call (859) 257-7433.
Unlike other parking structures on UK's campus, this facility is not open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hours of operation are as follows:

Occasionally, employees and students will be working after the structure closes. You can get to your vehicle by walking to the pedway entrance, stairwell A, third level, or using the doors on the first level, Limestone side, next to the pedway. There you will find a telephone that will put you in contact with the UK Police Department. After verifying your identity, the police dispatcher will authorize access into the structure. To exit with your vehicle, you must drive to the South Limestone side and insert your hang tag into the hang tag reader. The gate arm and exterior door will open so you can leave the structure.
How does a paying patron (visitor or guest) go about parking in the structure? A paying patron must accept a magnetic ticket from the ticket dispenser at the entrance. After accepting the ticket, the gate arm will open and the patron can then proceed into the structure to locate a parking spot.
Prior to returning to a vehicle, a paying patron must proceed to one of the ATM-style cashier stations located in Stairwell A, levels 1 and 3. These stations allow patrons to process their tickets and pay for their parking fees.
A patron will insert his or her ticket into the machine, and the fee due is displayed to the patron within seconds. At that point, the patron deposits the appropriate value into the machine, which accepts Visa, MasterCard, or $1-$20 bills. When the fee is fully paid, the validated ticket is returned to the patron with information that will allow the patron to exit the structure.
Leaving the cashier station, the patron retrieves his or her vehicle and proceeds to the exit point of the garage. The exit verifier accepts the validated parking ticket from the patron and allows the patron to exit, assuming the patron has reached the exit point within the 15 minutes allotted grace time.
Parking and Transportation Services is pleased to offer a convenient method of pre-selling parking passes called The Voucher System. This concept is ideal for a wide range of uses, especially those departments with repeat customers and visitors attending conferences, meetings or special events. Parking patrons will find the Voucher System user-friendly and easy to use. For more information, contact the structure office at (859) 257-7433.
Parking for people with disabilities is available on all levels of the structure. The elevator is located in Stairwell A. To enhance convenience, access and safety, pedestrians may use pedways from Stairwell A level 3 across South Limestone and into the Peterson Service Building.
