University of Kentucky Parking & Transportation Services and the Athletics Department will team up again this season to provide transportation for students, employees, and guests between campus and Rupp Arena for all regular season home games while UK is in session. The Rupp Arena basketball shuttle will begin Friday, November 13, as the men's basketball team tips off against Morehead State at 6:30 p.m.
Game day shuttles will begin from the Euclid Avenue side of the Student Center and the Greg Page Laundry one hour and ten minutes prior to the scheduled game time. Shuttles will then proceed to the Kirwan-Blanding Complex sidewalk, at the intersection of University and Huguelet Drives. Passengers should arrive at the University and Huguelet pick-up one hour before tip-off. Shuttles will depart when full or not later than 45 minutes before tip-off.
The cost for riding the shuttle will be $3.00 per person, per game. The bus driver will issue each rider a voucher for a return trip. Failure to produce the voucher will result in the patron having to pay $2.00.
Return trip shuttles will meet patrons at the Vine Street exit from Rupp Arena, and depart 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game to return to campus.
