Giving
You may be surprised at what a difference you can make.
At the Patterson School, small gifts help our students pursue their passion, medium size gifts have a major impact, and large gifts might even change the world.
The Patterson School provides an intense, intimate learning environment with direct exposure to government and the business world that I believe is unmatched anywhere else. Students arrive here with promise and passion, and leave ready to tackle some of the world's greatest challenges.
Today, this 50+ year-old program is at a critical juncture. Many people are often surprised to learn that this Kentucky institution stands at the forefront of graduate education in diplomacy and international commerce, ranked alongside Princeton, George Washington, and American University.
The caliber of students the Patterson School draws from Kentucky, across the country, and around the globe has soared, but unfortunately its facilities and financial resources have not kept pace with their needs or the school's solid reputation. We want to continue to attract and teach those students who can make a difference, and to hire and retain faculty that inspire them. Today, this vibrant program can be maintained only with private support.
I invite you to become a partner in helping shape the next generation of leaders in international affairs.
Philanthropy is above all personal. I would love to explore how we might join forces to enhance this landmark program. I have some great ideas and suspect you do too. Please call me (859-257-4666) or share your thoughts and passions by e-mail (Carey Cavanaugh). I would be delighted to tell you about how Patterson School graduates are making their mark on the planet everyday.
Your support can not only help make my students' dreams possible, but – through their actions and life-long careers – may profoundly transform people's lives.
This is an exciting time at the Patterson School. With the dramas unfolding in the Middle East and East Asia, it's hard to imagine when there was a more pressing need for diplomacy and greater international understanding.
Thank you for considering the Patterson School as a place to make your mark on the world. My students need your support!
Let's talk.
