Preceptor Orientation Training

All University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy preceptors are required by new ACPE accreditation standards to complete preceptor orientation training. 

The Office of Experiential Education is providing one hour of FREE continuing education credit online to meet this requirement.

College of Pharmacy Grand Rounds Now Available via Web to all Preceptors

Pharmacy Grand Rounds, held Fridays from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, provides a forum for College of Pharmacy faculty and residents to present and discuss the latest advances in patient care and pharmacy practice.  The Office of Experiential Education is pleased to announce the availability of Grand Rounds to our community-based faculty across the state.  Preceptors can access Grand Rounds live via Adobe Connect on Fridays at Noon.  A schedule of upcoming presentations can be found on the Experiential Education Program webpage at www.uky.edu/Pharmacy/clerkships/GRSch.pdf.

For community-based faculty, the link to the Adobe Connect broadcasting site is: http://ukconnect.acrobat.com/grandrounds/.
All that is required is for you to sign your name in the “guest” field.  The presentation will be viewable on the screen and you may type in questions on the left side of the screen.
