Dosing Guidelines

  • For treatment of a fungal infection along with diaper dermatitis, apply 2 to 3 times daily for 2 to 3 days. Should see improvement within 1 to 2 days. If you do not see improvement within 3-4 days, see your physician.

General Information

Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent that inhibits growth of pathogenic dermatophytes, yeasts, and Malassezia furfur. Clotrimazole has fungistatic and fungicidal activity and no resistance has been shown during successive treatments. Do not use this product if you have hypersensitivity to clotrimazole. For external use only. Apply after cleaning the affected area. Continue use for full 3-4 days even though you may see improvement earlier than 3-4 days. Apply thin layer to affected area. If condition persists or worsens or if irritation occurs discontinue use and contact the physician. Extend application of product beyond the margins of the satellite lesions characteristic of a fungal infection.
