Ortho Options Ortho-Gynol® Jelly is pleasantly scented, water-soluble, non-greasy and mildly lubricating. It contains fast acting spermicide Octoxynol-9, and is designed specifically for use with a diaphragm. The diaphragm alone cannot effectively prevent pregnancy.

The diaphragm and Ortho Options Ortho-Gynol® Jelly are effective up to six hours. An additional application is necessary if repeated intercourse takes place or if intercourse occurs more than six hours after insertion. For best protection against pregnancy, follow the enclosed instruction circular exactly.

Active Ingredient: Octoxynol-9 (p-Diisobutylphenoxypolyethoxethanol) - 1.0% (50 mg of Octoxynol-9 per applicatorful). Inactive Ingredients: Benzoic Acid, Castor Oil, Fragrance, Glacial Acetic Acid, Methylparaben, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose.
