General Information The site and mechanism of the analgesic effect is unclear. Acetaminophen reduces fever by direct action on the hypothalamic heat regulatory centers. The antipyretic & analgesic effect of Acetaminophen & aspirin are comparable and acetaminophen doesn’t pose a risk for Reye’s Syndrome. Adverse Reactions/Side Effects Do not use for more than 5 days because severe or recurrent pain or high or continued fever may indicate a serious illness. |
