Triage Questions About Treatment or Related Issues Does the affected area cover a large area of the body? Has patient tried any other medications for this problem? Results? How old is the patient? Has the condition persisted longer than seven days or does it appear to clear up and then worsen? Are there any underlying medical conditions or is patient taking any other medications? General Information The solution is an astringent, which minimizes oozing and discharge by coagulating protein. Do not cover wet compress with plastic. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. If symptoms persist for more than seven days, discontinue use and contact physician. This product interacts with topical collegenase, so before applying topical collagenase cleanse area of Burow’s solution with repeated washings of normal saline. |
