Dr. Millheim coordinates ambulatory care pharmacy services
for University of Kentucky Hospital. He
assists in the development and implementation of ambulatory clinical
services throughout the Chandler Medical Center and is manager of
Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy and Student Health Pharmacy.
Teaching
Dr. Millheim teaches pharmacy administration modules in the second and
third year in Contemporary Aspects of Pharmacy Practice (CAPP) courses.
He also is a small-group facilitator in the first-year CAPP
course.
Precepting
First year – Early Pharmacy Practice Experience
Fourth year – ambulatory and community clerkships
Residency – primary care/ambulatory care specialty resident
Research Interests
Research efforts focus on methods to ensure safe and effective
medication use, development of clinical pharmacy services, and
innovations in pharmacy management.
