has been named the 2002 Kentucky Pharmacist of the Year by the
Kentucky Pharmacists Association.

Pharmacists Aid in Controlling Rising Drug Costs
Across the country, escalating costs
of prescription drugs have impacted all areas of health care.
Total prescription drug spending in 2001 was more than $154
billion, a 17 percent increase from the previous year, according
to a report by the National Institute for Health Care Management
Foundation.
