Presentation Awards

Lisa Ringelberg Middleton, a second-year graduate student in pharmaceutical sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Linda Dwoskin, received an award for "best paper" from the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET). The title of her poster was "Nicotinic Receptor Modulation of Dopamine Transporter Function in Striatum and Medial Prefrontal Cortex in Rats." The poster was presented at the National FASEB Conference in Orlando, Fla., March 31-April 4, 2001.

Peter Van Ess, a fourth-year graduate student in clinical pharmaceutical sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Robert Blouin, received a second-place award for a poster presentation. The award was presented at the 33rd Annual Pharmaceutical Graduate Student Research Meeting conducted at the University of Wisconsin.
