Foscarnet
Toxicity
- Renal toxicity - the major dose limiting side effect - ATN. Crystalluria and interstitial nephritis. Increases in creatinine occurs in 50% of patients treated.
- Metabolic - hypo and hypercalcemia, hypo, and hyperphosphatemia
- CNS - headache in 25% of patients, tremor, irritability, seizures in 10% of patients.
