The Plus Account is a debit program for University of Kentucky students, faculty, and staff and Bluegrass Community & Technical College students. The Plus Account is widely used on campus and off campus for dining, laundry, bookstores, printing, copying, uniforms, prescriptions, and much more. Residence Hall laundry and UK campus printing may only be accessed with a Plus Account.
The Plus Account began offering students, faculty and staff the opportunity to purchase goods and services at participating locations off campus during the fall 2005 semester. There are currently 20,000 students, faculty and staff that use a Plus Account. Currently accepted on campus and at more than 100 businesses (over 125 locations) off campus. The UK Plus Account Off Campus Program has generated more than $9.3 million in sales for Lexington area businesses.
