The University of Kentucky Police Department will serve as a model law enforcement agency. We will be viewed as a professional police agency from our peers, as well as the community that we serve. We will be held up as campus community leaders and work to enhance the teaching, learning and working environment and overall quality of life in and around campus.

The University of Kentucky Police Department's mission is to promote a safe and secure campus environment for students, faculty, staff and vistors at the University. We will provide quality police services ethically, fairly and equally in partnership with the members of our community.
