On September 1, 2004, a female student reported that she had been physically assaulted, between 10:45 and 11:00 P.M. on Monday, August 30th, near 515 Oldham Avenue.
The unknown suspect is a white male in his early 20's, 6'0", with a large build. He had a shaved head and was wearing dark clothing.

August 27, 2004
On Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at approximately 5:40 p.m., a juvenile visitor to the UK Chandler Medical Center reported he was resting in the courtyard adjacent to the College of Dentistry when an unknown male grabbed him by the arm and would not let go. The victim was able to free himself from the grip of the suspect and immediately ran from the area.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid thirties, 5'9" tall with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing blue jean shorts, a blue shirt and a white ball cap.
UK Police offer the following safety recommendations to avoid this type of victimization:

Case Closed by Arrest
On April 29, 2004, a female student reported that she had been sexually assaulted at knife point, at approximately 2:00 A.M., in the Hilltop Avenue parking lot of the W.T. Young Library.
The unknown suspect is a male in his early 30's, 5'10" to 6'1", 180 pounds, with a thin build. He had brown collar length hair that was spiked on the top. He was wearing a black Dale Earnhardt t-shirt, with a red number 3 on it, and blue jeans. Suspect was last seen running toward Woodland Avenue from the parking lot.

University of Kentucky Police have issued a "Campus Safety Alert" following a report of sexual abuse on campus this afternoon. The incident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. in a stairwell of Parking Structure 5, located on South Limestone, next to Kennedy's Book Store. A female student was touched on the buttocks by an unknown black male.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20's, 5'11, with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing white slacks, a turquoise shirt, and white shoes. The suspect has short, cropped hair. UK Police also consider the man to be a suspect in a rash of reported indecent exposure incidents which have occurred on campus in recent weeks.

Off Campus
A male victim reported to Lexington Police that he had been the victim of an attempted robbery while using the PNC ATM machine located at 396 Woodland Avenue (University Plaza – corner of Woodland & Euclid). The attempt occurred on Monday, February 16, 2004 at 2:20 AM.
Victim advised that the suspect approached him, demanding money. The victim ran to his car and while attempting to leave the area to a safe location was fired upon but, not harmed, by the suspect.
Suspect is described as follows:
Suspect : Male, Black, 5'4, 160 pounds, medium build, last seen wearing a maroon flannel top and a blue ski mask.
Suspect was armed with a large caliber handgun.

Armed Robberies

seen a significant number of armed robberies since the beginning of
the Spring 2004 semester. While all of these crimes have not been committed
on campus, they have still victimized members of the University community,
specifically students.
Therefore, it is important to the safety and security of the entire University community for you to be aware of these occurrences and the safety precautions you need to take to lessen the chances of you becoming a victim.

Armed Robbery
A male victim reported that he had been robbed in the area of Minerals Industry Building on Wednesday, January 21, 2003 around 7:30 AM . Victim was a UK employee.
Victim advised that the suspect approached him and demanded his wallet. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and several identifications from the wallet and then fled west between buildings and toward S. Limestone Street .
Suspect is described as follows:
Suspect: Male, Black, height and weight unknown, last seen wearing a gray toboggan, bubble jacket (unknown color), dark jeans, white shoes. Subject possibly had a mustache.
Suspect was armed with a knife.

A female victim reported that she had been robbed in the area of Cooperstown B Building on Sunday, January 11, 2003 around 8:40 PM.
Victim advised that the suspects approached her and demanded her wallet. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash from the wallet and then fled toward the Shively Baseball Stadium.
Suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1: Male, White, 5'8, early 20's, last seen wearing black slacks and a black jacket.
Suspect 2: Male, White, 5'10 – 5'11, slim build, early 20's, last seen wearing black slacks and a black jacket.
Both Suspects were described to be wearing black stockings over their faces and black bandana's. One subject was armed with what was described as a baton or club.
