FINGERPRINTING SERVICES

Fingerprinting services are performed Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4pm.  Fingerprinting is done on a first-come, first-served basis as officers are available (this means that you may have to wait for an officer to finish a report call or an emergency call in order to get your prints taken).  You may come to UK Police Headquarters at 305 Euclid Avenue during business hours to get your fingerprints taken.  There is a charge for this service.  Please bring $10.00 (cash, money order, or check only), a valid picture ID, as well as your fingerprint cards.  Appointments are not taken, please do not call for an appointment as this is first-come, first-served service.

Don’t have fingerprint cards?  The FBI now accepts cards printed from their website.  Go to http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/pdf/fpcardb.pdf to download your fingerprint card directly from the FBI’s website.  You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to download this image.  If you don’t have computer access, you may contact your local FBI office for fingerprint cards.
