Biography

PATRICIA BRANTLEY TODD, Lexington, graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1968 with a B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences and her Master of Science from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1973. Mrs. Todd began her career in education in Massachusetts where she taught Nutrition at the high school level.
Mrs. Todd serves on the board of the Lexington Opera Society. She also serves as a founding member of the Women's Circle, the primary endowment program of the University of Kentucky's Center for Research on Violence Against Women; and is co-chair of the University of Kentucky's Women in Philanthropy.
Mrs. Todd served as Chairman of the Relay for Life Cancer Drive for two consecutive years, is presently co-chair of the University of Kentucky Undergraduate Advisory Board, served on the Women's Health Center Advisory Council and served on the Governor's School for the Arts Advisory Committee. She has served on the Lexington Ballet Board and was the Community Co-chairperson of the Primary School Program for KERA in Fayette County.
Mrs. Todd is married to Dr. Lee T. Todd, Jr., President of the University of Kentucky. They have two grown children: Troy Todd and Kathryn Norman.
