Instructions for Faculty
All UK Faculty are invited to attend and participate in the investiture ceremony.
- Faculty who plan to participate in the processional are required to wear full academic regalia including mortarboard or tam.
- For faculty who do not have regalia, the University will assist you with a contribution toward the purchase of regalia. Please contact Andrea Bailey at the UK Bookstore for assistance, 859-257-6304 or by email at 0446gm@fheg.follett.com
- Faculty should arrive in the Singletary Recital Hall no later than 3:30 p.m. to line up.
- Faculty will be asked to process by College.
- Faculty that choose not to participate in the processional are asked to attend the ceremony in the general audience.
- The ceremony will last approximately one hour.
- There will also be a recessional of faculty at the end of the ceremony.
- All Faculty are invited to attend the reception following the ceremony in the Singletary Center front lobby.

All UK Staff are invited to attend the investiture ceremony for Dr. Capilouto.
- Staff will be represented in the processional by the Staff Representative to the Board of Trustees, Ms. Sheila Brothers.
- The ceremony will last approximately one hour.
- All staff are also invited to attend the reception following the ceremony in the Singletary Center lobby.
