Faculty
Since CREEK began its educational program in the fall of 2003, it has benefited
enormously from the diverse group of people who have participated as course
directors, module leaders, presenters, mentors and community collaborators.
These faculty members have come from the University of Kentucky, Hazard Community
and Technical College, Eastern Kentucky University, Morehead State University,
other regional colleges and universities and community organizations and agencies.
Pictured above is Evelyn Knight, Ph.D., Director of the University of Kentucky
Appalachian Center talking with CREEK Founder, Gilbert Friedell, MD, Director Emeritus,
University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, at a CREEK Colloquium. Drs. Knight and
Friedell have frequently served CREEK as module leaders and speakers.
