Appendix A contains the C.V.'s for all faculty and staff who specialize in some degree on Geographic Information Science. Several units have specific plans for future staffing in the process of implementation. The director of information systems is looking into hiring a full-time GIS consultant
for the SSTARS laboratory to help faculty, staff, and students with GIS related issues. This person would be the main contact point for advanced questions about GIS, questions which are increasing in frequency as
more people on campus are embracing the spatial analytical potential and using it as part of their research. Civil Engineering is currently interviewing candidates for a position which involves GIS teaching and
