"Legal 101" provides an overview of legal services provided by the University of Kentucky Office of Legal Counsel. The training is aimed at making the chairs/directors more familiar with the attorneys, paralegals and staff in the legal office so that administrators will take advantage of the resources available there.Presentations will be given by various attorneys and staff from the Office of Legal Counsel and there will be opportunities to ask questions and to arrange follow-up visits for more departmental specific training. Topics covered include: Overview of Contracts, Intellectual Property, Employment, Risk Management, Ethics, Privacy Issues, and more.
