Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholars
This 11-week program in Washington, D.C. teaches students about health policy issues with a focus on issues affecting racial and ethnic minority and underserved communities. Applicants should be a minority U.S. Citizen, and have experience with program sthat address health issues. Students in all fields are welcome to apply, but all should have interests in health policy issues.

Center for Strategic and International Studies Internships
CSIS offers full-time and part-time internships in the fall, spring, and summer for students interested in gaining practical experience in public policy.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute
The Fellowship offers Latinos who have earned a bachelor's degree within two years of the program start date a paid, nine-month fellowship to gain experience at the national level in public policy. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program
The Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program is a leadership development program for students committed to social justice. The duration of the fellowship is one year, during which fellows work in community and nonprofit organizations. Students with a commitment to social justice should apply, regardless of major. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

The Henry Clay Internship
The Henry Clay Internship is open to students at Kentucky colleges and universities who wish to pursue a career in public service for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Each intern receives a $3,000 stipend for living expenses in Washington during the summer internship.

Herbert Scoville Peace and Security Fellowship
The Scoville Program offers students the opportunity to work in Washington D.C. for 6-9 months with nonprofit, and public interest groups addressing peace and security issues. Students in all fields are eligible to apply. Prior experience with public-interest activism or advocacy is desirable.

Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute
The PPIA Fellowship is a seven-week summer program that focuses on preparing students for graduate programs in public and international affairs. Students must be a U.S. citizen in order to apply and should be committed to completing a Master's Degree in public/international affairs at a PPIA Consortium graduate school.

Rangel International Affairs Fellowship
The Rangel Program seeks individuals from all fields who are interested in foreign policy. The Program provides a summer enrichment program for undergraduates or funding for graduate work. Students must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award
The Award provides a $10,000 stipend for a graduating student to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world. Applicants must be graduating from a U.S. college or university.

Simon Fellowship for Noble Purpose
The Fellowship is an unrestricted grant of $40,000 for a student to pursue a goal that will strengthen civil society. Awards of $20,000 and $10,000 are made to two other outstanding students. Students must be U.S. Citizens in order to apply. Applications are accepted from all fields, although an interest in civil society is key.

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship
The Fellowship provides funding for the senior year of college and first year of graduate study for students who are in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Fellowship
The Payne Fellowship Program provides benefits over two years toward a two-year master's degree, internships on Caiptol Hill and at USAID missions overseas, and provides professional development and support activities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
