Austrian-American Educational Commission Teaching Assistantships
This program provides college graduates with the opportunity to work as teaching assistants to English teachers in secondary schools across Austria. Benefits include health insurance and a salary. Students must be a U.S. citizen and younger than 29 years of age at the time of application.

Breakthrough Summer Teaching Internships
The Breakthrough Collaborative provides college students the opportunity to teach high performing middle school students at various locations throughout the U.S. The internship is unpaid but provides for living expenses.

City Year
City Year participants serve for 10 months as tutors, mentors and role models in schools across the U.S. as well as South Africa and England. Benefits include a living stipend, $5,500 award, student loan forbearance, and health insurance. Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Program
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scholarship program provides applicants with awards up to $8,000 per year for full time study and a 10-week internship in the summer for training in oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, and education. Interested students should be in the fields of Biological, Social or Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer and Information Science or Teacher Education. JET Program - The Japan Exchange and Teaching Program

Knowles Math and Science Teaching Fellowship

Mississippi Teacher Corps
The MTC is a two-year program that trains non-education majors to teach in high-poverty public schools in Mississippi. The program offers a full scholarship to the University of Mississippi to complete a master's degree in education and job placement that offers full pay and benefits.

New York City Teaching Fellows
The NYC Teaching Fellows Program is designed specifically to provide fellows with training, support, and resources needed to succeed as teachers in New York City public schools.
