The Chellgren Endowed Chair

The responsibilities associated with the position of the Chellgren Chair are:

• Serve as a catalyst and advocate for innovation and excellence in undergraduate education
• Serve as a spokesperson and representative for the Chellgren Center with both on- and off-campus constituencies
• Serve on the Chellgren Center Governing Board
• Teach one course per year in either the Honors Program or the Discovery Seminar Program (Teaching responsibilities in the home department to be arranged)
• Guide the Oxford-style mentoring program for the Chellgren Student Fellows
• Work closely with the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education, the Chellgren Endowed Professors and the Center Coordinator to fulfill the mission of the Chellgren Center.
