Shipping Address Verification: When ordering from Dell on your departmental procurement card you MUST check the shipping address and/or change the shipping address to be delivered to your department. This section MUST be completed with the correct information. Several orders are being shipped to incorrect departments.

- There is a demand for OptiPlex 980s and the lead times are approaching 20 days. If your department has a tight timeline for delivery, it is being advised to purchase the 780 bundle. If you have specific questions contact Michelle Thomas @ michelle_m_thomas@dell.com.

Hard Disk Drive production delays: The flooding in Thailand is causing concern industry wide regarding the manufacture of hard disk drive (HDDs) production by suppliers who manufacture in the country (Thailand is the world's number two maker of hard HDDs). UK does anticipate an impact to Dell's server, storage, desktop, and notebook supplies for the next two quarters. Updates will be posted to the www.uky.edu/ebuy site.
