Placement Exams
The Placement Exam sheet (2 pages, PDF format*) is intended to help you decide if you need to take any placement exams at your Advising Conference. These exams provide placement only; no credit is awarded.
UK Core Program
The UK Core Program is UK's name for the general education component of each student's university education. Students in every major need to complete these requirements as listed in the University Bulletin. You can access the University Bulletin via the Internet here. If you have declared a major, the major may dictate the choices you make in each area of the UK Core. When you meet with your advisor, you will learn more of the specific choices that are right for you. You can also find this information in the University Bulletin — look up your major in the index.
