Academic Common Market

The UK mascot

Kentucky is one of the 16 participating states in the Academic Common Market (ACM). The Academic Common Market allows out-of-state students to pay in-state tuition while studying selected academic programs that are not available in their home states. The list of programs included in the Academic Common Market is revised periodically to reflect the changing needs and offerings of participating states.

The 16 states that participate in the Academic Common Market are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
