Summer Admission
Undergraduate Admission
Students interested in admission to the University of Kentucky may obtain application packets from the Summer School Office, 6 Funkhouser Building (859) 257-3382 or the Office of Undergraduate Admission and University Registrar, 100 Funkhouser Building (859) 257-2000. Students should complete the application and return it, along with any required documents, to:

- Students seeking admission to the 1st Summer Session must submit the application and all required documents by April 15.
- Students seeking admission to the 2nd Summer Session must submit the application and all required documents by May 15.
- Early application is strongly suggested.
- The acceptance letter includes information about advising and registration (registration dates shown here and summer advising). Visit the Advising Conferences web page for more information.
- Students pursuing a degree at another college or university may study at the University of Kentucky during the summer sessions as visiting or transient students. Visiting Student Form is available on the Summer School web site. It is important to apply early. An application packet and information on requirements are available from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and University Registrar or the Summer School Office. Please see page 24 of the Summer School Book for additional information about TRANSIENT (VISITING) STUDENTS.
- High school students of exceptional ability may have the opportunity to earn college credit during the summer. For application and information on admission requirements, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and University Registrar.
- Students who are on academic suspension and wish to attend summer sessions should see the dean of their college for procedures and specified deadlines for reinstatement.
- Students who have been out of school for one or more semesters must apply for readmission to the University. Undergraduates should contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and University Registrar.
- Donovan Scholars Students 65 years of age or older qualify to attend University of Kentucky classes, without paying tuition, as Donovan Scholars. Students may work toward a graduate or undergraduate degree, audit classes for the joy of learning, or take individual classes for credit.

Note to Continuing UK Students
If you were at UK during the spring semester you do not need to reapply for summer school but should priority register for summer and fall classes. Undergraduate students should contact their college dean's office and graduate students should contact their program office for information.
