Postal Services
- The Postal Services Department provides once-daily delivery of campus and off-campus mail as well as providing routine postal services for students and staff. The University Post Office has two campus locations: 21a Whitehall Classroom Building and M63 Medical Center.
- All authorized mail is processed through the University Postal Services where it is metered and charged to the appropriate department or account. Charges are processed via Postal Services automated billing system which posts directly to the departmental account.
- Stamp purchases may be made in small quantities upon submission of a Departmental Authorization and Voucher (DAV), payable to the University Postmaster, and approved by the Manager of the Postal Services Department. A check will be sent to the Postmaster, who will notify the department to pick up the stamps. Requests for stamps should include reasons why mail cannot be processed by UK Post Office.
- Postcard purchases may be made by submitting a Departmental Authorization and Voucher (DAV), payable to the University Postmaster, to the Accounts Payable Section, Office of Controller and Treasurer. A check will be sent to the Postmaster, who will notify the department to pick up the cards.
- See "Delegated Purchases," Section B-3-1.7, "Postage."
