Dr. Daunert and Dr. Bachas Highlighted in Magazine Feature

(Feb. 2008) - UK-SRP researchers Dr. Sylvia Daunert and Dr. Leonidas Bachas have been featured in the 2008 edition of Research Kentucky, a special publication of The Lane Report.

The article discusses their team's work in developing "smart" biomaterials that "can sense a stimulus and react to it in a useful, reliable, reproducible, and usually reversible manner." Also addressed are potential industrial applications and possible impacts on Kentucky's economy.
