UK-SRP Student Receives ACN New Investigator Award
(October 2008) -- Yuan Yuan Zheng, a doctoral student in Dr. Bernhard Hennig's lab, received the American College of Nutrition's New Investigator Award during the American College of Nutrition 49th Annual Meeting in Arlington, Virginia (Oct 2-5, 2008). Yuan Yuan also gave a presentation entitled "Role of caveolae in fatty acid-induced endothelial cell activation and flavonoid protection".
Yuan Yuan has been with the UK Graduate Center for Nutritional Science since September 2006.
The American College of Nutrition was established in 1959 to promote scientific endeavor in the field of nutritional sciences.
