Majkova Receives Award at Toxicology and Risk Assessment Conference
(May 2009) - UK-SRP doctoral candidate Zuzana Majkova won the top student poster award at the recent Toxicology and Risk Assessment Conference (TRAC) in Cincinnati, OH. Zuzana's poster was entitled "Caveolae regulate endothelial up-regulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines by coplanar PCBs".
Majkova conducts research in Dr. Hennig's laboratory as a member of the Endothelial Cell Dysfunction team.
