(May 2009) - Professor Dibakar Bhattacharyya's work on developing membranes to capture toxic metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, barium and others from contaminated water was featured in a recent edition of the United States Department of Agriculture'sEnviro-News. The article details the genesis of the work during a conversation between Dr. Bhattacharyya and National Risk Management Research Lab associate director Subhas Sikdar and notes that the collaborative process is supported by multiple federal agencies and private industry.
