Brief Bio:

In high-school, I was mostly involved in the Future Business Leaders of America. I consider myself quite charismatic and that I truly have a way with talking to people. Through much counseling with the Robinson Scholars staff, I decided that upon coming to the University of Kentucky I would become a finance major in the Gatton College of Business and Economics.

Through the efforts of Jeff Spradling, the director of the Robinson Scholars Program, and George Scott, the College Services Coordinator for the program, I was given many leadership opportunities and speaking roles within the program which helped to hone my communication skills as I strive to reach my fullest potential. I now work for the Robinson Scholars Program as the Community Service Coordinator, a role which has helped me network not only the scholars within the program, but many other staff, faculty, and students throughout campus. This position also allows me to help with the younger scholars' transition from high-school to college.

The Robinson Scholars Program has provided an outlet for advacement and education for me and my peers, the likes of which can be found nowhere else in our region. It has provided me with the financial help I so desperately needed to enroll at the University of Kentucky, but more importantly, it has opened its arms to me as if I were a part of the Robinson family, which I am very proud of. With this program's help, I have and will continue to strive for excellence on behalf of myself, my region, and my program.
