Eligibility
Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Robinson Scholars Program:
- Students must be enrolling as eighth grade students for the first time.
- Students must be potential first-generation college students. This means that neither of the parents, stepparents, nor legal guardians can hold a four year college degree at the time of application.
- Students must reside in and attend school in the state of Kentucky in one of the 29 counties served by the Program.
- Students must possess the desire to attend college and earn a four year degree.
- Students must have demonstrated the potential to succeed in high school and in college.
- Students and their parents/guardians must be willing to participate in the Program and its activities.
