Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Robinson Scholars Program:

  • Students must be enrolling as 9th grade students for the first time.
  • Students must be potential first-generation college students. This means that neither of the parents nor legal guardians can hold a four year college degree at the time of application.
  • Students must reside in and attend school in the state of Kentucky in one of the 29 counties served by the Program.
  • Students must possess the desire to attend college and earn a four year degree.
  • Students must have demonstrated the potential to succeed in high school and in college.
  • Students and their parents/guardians must be willing to participate in the Program and its activities.
