Who is Quest?

An Arizona-based corporation since 1993, Quest Employee Locator features an Electronic Resume Database System custom designed to match the underemployed and unemployed with employers. The system utilizes a sophisticated search engine developed to revolutionize the employment industry. This system enables employers to find the right candidates nationwide quickly and efficiently using Quest's proprietary technology through the World Wide Web. Quest's unique system helps job seekers receive much needed exposure through the Internet.

How The System Works

The Quest system provides the fastest, most cost-effective means of matching the job seekers to employers without any hiring fees! The Quest system is a powerful database which provides cutting edge sorting and searching capabilities, enabling employers and job seekers to rapidly narrow large numbers of resumes or job listings by specifically selected, user-defined criteria and key word searches. Employers can search for candidates from individual states, metro areas, university graduates or even their own private, custom-designed database created by Quest specifically for tracking their own applicants. Job seekers can also search through job listings (from a nationwide search to individual states or zip codes) for positions which meet their needs and match their standard of living.

Available Databases

• General Database- Contains all resume entries from a region, state or metro area in a single, comprehensive database.
• Colleges/Universities- Choose from our list of Colleges and Universities to search for students or recent graduates ready to enter the work force.
• Private Database- Employers wishing to search and sort their own secure resume database may contact Quest to create a custom applicant tracking system.

The Search

• Search by education, position, salary, location, and experience. After the selection has been narrowed down to a manageable number of resumes, you may choose to conduct a key word search to identify specific skills or abilities.
• Quest's search engine selects resumes by helping you define specific search criteria providing only those candidates which meet your needs.
• Resume summaries allow quick review of candidates before resumes are viewed in full.
• Full resumes are immediately available for detailed review and may be printed directly from the search screen.

Registration

• In order to search resumes all companies must register with Quest.
• You will be assigned a confidential ID number and password for your use to access the Quest system. Your ID number and password will remain valid for your use as long as you have purchased time on the system.

Fees

• Once you have registered, you may purchase on-line search access for only $49 per hour. Discount rates are available for purchases of multiple hours. We have no other hidden costs or hiring fees. You may use purchased time however you choose; five minute searches, fifteen minute searches or all at once. A purchased block of time will allow anyone using your ID number and password complete access to our public databases, including our general and university databases. Enter a Resume

The easiest, most productive way to get your resume in front of thousands of employers nationwide is to enter your resume on-line into Quest's unique resume database.

Fill out the Data Information Sheet at Enter a Resume. This information identifies your work history, education, employment background, etc., and will help you to “target” yourself within the database. It will also help you create a resume if you do not already have one. Once you have completed a data sheet your information is immediately accessible on the Quest system to employers in a designated metro area, region, or nationwide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When an employer conducts a search, your data sheet will be viewed first.

The Quest system allows job seekers to choose the amount of personal information (your name, address, phone number, etc.) that can be viewed by employers. If you would like complete confidentiality, choose our own Voice Mail system. Quest will assign you a confidential Voice Mail number and block all personal information from your resume and Data Information Sheet. Employers will only view your qualifications and your assigned Voice Mail number. Employers may call our exclusive Voice Mail system to listen to your personal greeting and leave a message to request a return call from you to schedule an interview or send additional information.

Fees

• NO CHARGE to enter your personal employment data and resume on-line on the Quest system using the easy-to-use Data Information Sheet. Your resume will be in an ASCII format. (Special formatting such as bullets, fonts, etc. are not shown) Your information will be available to employers for 90 days.
• $15 fee for Quest to scan your single or multiple-page resume into our database and link it to your personal Data Information Sheet. If we scan your resume, it appears on-line exactly as you created it! Your information will be available to employers for 90 days.
  A $29 fee if you would like this service for 6 months.
• Additional $15 fee for our confidential Voice Mail service for 90 days.
  Additional $25 fee if you would like Voice Mail service for 6 months.

Time

• Resume information is available in the Quest database for employers to view for 90 days or 6 months. After your time has expired, your resume and information will be deleted from the system. If you do not have the job you desire at this time you may either (1) re-enter your information on-line, or , or (2) contact Quest at 1-800-524-5627 or by e-mail at info@questusa.com to update your information and extend your listing.

You can perform a search right now at no charge. The Sample Search is an actual search of live data in our General database.
