PURPOSE
(approved by the Executive Committee 21-VIII-00)
|
The University of Kentucky Self-Study is a multi-year, comprehensive,
institution-wide, self-assessment and evaluation. This process
will help to ensure that the University of Kentucky meets established
standards of quality and that it continually evaluates the extent
to which it meets educational goals.
From this self-examination
will come recommendations for improvments or enhancements to policies,
processes, programs, services, facilities, and personnel. By addressing
the Criteria for Accreditation of the Commission on Colleges,
the University of Kentucky will gain reaffirmation of accreditation
by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
